NEGOTIATING FOR SUCCESS

Negotiation is a difficult, but key skill set to have as you grow into your SETT career. This WinSETT Workshop will help you to become an effective negotiator by teaching you how to get comfortable asking for what you need, learning the nuances of negotiations, and giving you a model to practice in your future negotiations.

Participants in this day-long course will gain awareness of the many workplace situations where negotiation is a factor. You will practice methods to successfully negotiate for opportunities, resources, recognition, financial benefits, promotions, and access to networks.

This workshop will be led by a professional WinSETT facilitator and include discussion, self-reflection, and experience-based learning.

This course is highly-recommended for science, engineering, trades, and technology students, recent graduates, and early- to mid-career SETT professionals.
Course registration is non-refundable and courses are limited to 35 participants maximum, with a minimum number required to proceed.
