EXPLORING COMMUNICATION: INTERPERSONAL INFLUENCE

Workplaces in science, engineering, trades, and technology (SETT) are composed of different people with diverse perspectives, experiences, and outlooks. This session will help you appreciate each other’s strengths, needs and limitations.

In this workshop you’ll learn different communication styles, how to be an effective communicator, and then learn how to authentically adapt to the styles of others to get your message across while avoiding common communication challenges.

This workshop will be led by a professional WinSETT facilitator and include discussion, self-reflection, and experience-based learning.

This session is highly-recommended for early- to mid-career science, engineering, trades, and technology (SETT) professionals, especially leaders, managers, and human resources specialists.
Session registration is non-refundable and sessions are limited to 35 participants maximum, with a minimum number required to proceed.
